Teraxion Offers a Tunable Pulse Stretcher and VBG Compressor Pair for Ultrafast Laser Systems
TeraXion announces that it now offers a matched tunable pulse stretcher and volume Bragg grating (VBG) compressor pair for ultrafast laser systems. The combination of the two components will provide a high stretching-compression performance and a very small footprint.
Volume Bragg gratings have a small form factor, but they present some phase errors that limit the quality of the compressed pulse. These errors are compensated by the TPSR upstream, yielding a higher peak power. The pair is compatible with any type of chirped-pulse amplified (CPA) ultrafast laser system, whether bulk or fiber and is available in three standard configurations for femtosecond and picosecond lasers.
“The TPSR and VBG match brings out the best features in each component”, says René Dionne, product line manager at TeraXion. “This launch is an important milestone in TeraXion’s goal to offer innovative solutions for more compact, reliable and cost-effective ultrafast laser systems”, he adds.
TeraXion will exhibit at booth 434 in Hall B2 at Laser World of Photonics in Munich, Germany, from June 26th to 29th 2017. TeraXion designs and manufactures innovative photonic components for more power, speed and precision.
